A Canadian stock analyst sat in a London café during the 90’s and watched intently as a group of friends tried to balance sugar-cubes…for 3 hours straight! Inspired by the addictive balancing act and spurred on by the overwhelming reaction of friends to the idea, RUK-SHUK™ - The Game of Rock-Balancing was born!

RUK-SHUK™ was started on a shoestring budget out of a basement and built around the contribution of a community. Two years on, multi award-winning RUK-SHUK™ has grown rapidly into one of North America’s most beloved family and party games.

The simple concept of RUK-SHUK™ appeals to people around the world. Balancing rocks has been a common global cultural phenomenon for thousands of years, and the creators of RUK-SHUK™ have adapted this global theme. That is why, from Lebanon to Israel, the U.S.A. to China, each RUK-SHUK™ rock formation is named after an amazing natural rock phenomenon somewhere around the planet. By promoting awareness of the world’s cultures and beauty, the creators of RUK-SHUK™ hope to help spread the most universal idea that this big rock is our only home, and we all need to work together to preserve it.
